Happy Wednesday & National Cognac Day! 🥃

It's Wednesday, and we're excited to kick off the Belmont meet at Saratoga! This is a quick five-day event focused primarily on the Belmont Stakes, the third jewel of the Triple Crown. Since Belmont Park is still undergoing renovations, the Belmont Stakes will once again take place at a neighboring NYRA location.

While Saturday will be the highlight for many, we at Turtle Sports are looking forward to five full days of racing, featuring a total of 27 stakes races, including 11 Grade 1 stakes. This means that while Saturday promises to be thrilling, there are plenty of opportunities to win big throughout the week.

Today's card consists of 10 races, seven of which are stakes races, with over $1.5 million in purses available for winning connections. Six of today's races each have a purse of $200,000, so there isn't a single featured race; the entire card is set to be exceptional.

We will provide a Lundin Line for each day of the meet. While Sunday's lineup is still undecided, we will continue through Saturday and are excited to be featured on Trust the Prophets Doubling Down with our friend Colin Sheehan. Today's weather is expected to be the best of the week, with highs in the upper 80s and hazy skies. The track is fast, and the turf is firm, and we anticipate limited scratches today.
