It's Saturday so you know what that means, it's time for more Circa Millions plays!!! Last week we had a great week picking winners in the Millions as we went 4-1 which we will take every week this year. We estimate needing to be at 70% to cash and possibly as high as 80% to win the whole thing. We wish we could say Circa Survivor was as big of a success as the Millions but unfortunately we cannot. It was a bloodbath last week for survivor pools as almost 2/3 of the field lost and we can't believe the bad beat we had on our Titans pick. Finky is especially sad as that's his favorite team. So we will give you the game we would have played each week but that will be the last we dig deep into it unless we find a way to sneak back in. As usual, we'll start off with a quick rundown of the contest and then we'll get to our Circa Sports Week 2 plays.
In the Millions contest, each week we are picking 5 teams against the spread for a chance to win the $1 Million First Prize for best record at the end of the season. Point spreads for this contest are published Thursday mornings by Circa Sports and remain static through the week. We dialed back a bit this year on our entries in the Circa Million IV contest, we only have one, but added some more fun in the Circa Survivor:
Model Plays: This entry's picks are made using our Turtle Sports proprietary model.
Survivor: Pick one team each win to win outright (spread doesn't matter) and you move one; the catch is once you use a team you can't use them again
Model Plays: 4-1-0 for 4 Points
Survivor: 0-1-0 Eliminated
So that brings us to week 2. The model produced so many picks for us this week we had to narrow it done and weed through the bad lines. Pickles and Finky did some digging and found lines just don't seem right based upon our style of cappin' to help us come to the other selection this week.
