Happy Tuesday! Today our Lundin Line heads to the Land of Enchantment for Sunland Park's 9 race card. While everyone knows that "Land of Enchantment" is the nickname for New Mexico, the U.S.'s 47th state, we bet you didn't know that 10 years before the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock in 1620, the Spanish had already established the city of Santa Fe, making it North America's oldest capital city. As of 2021 the total population of New Mexico was just a bit over 2 million (more cows than people with only 20 people per square mile). By comparison, New York City's population is 8.5 million.
Anyway - showers are in the forecast for today's later races so watch for possible scratches & potential need to shift your betting in favor of the mudders.
