We are in beautiful Sarasota Springs, NY for a nice mid-week card at the Spa. Nine races await and while we could have a bit of rain for the later races, we are hopeful the racing conditions stay dry (or at least dry-ish).
Today's featured race is the Honorable Miss Handicap in Race 7, a 6-furlong dirt race for fillies & mares three years old and upward. The Honorable Miss is named after the Pen-Y-Bryn Farm’s multiple stakes-winning mare who, in 1975, won the Toboggan Handicap, the Vagrancy Handicap, the Gravesend Handicap, and the Fall Highweight Handicap as a 5-year-old.
