Stop number 2 this Friday, aka New Year's Eve Eve, takes us to what is normally some of the best weather in the country but not today. We head to Southern California where the sun is on vacation until next year. I had to get some sort of overused joke in about next year! Don't worry only one more day of terrible puns this year from me. That's right we are headed to Santa Anita Racetrack today for their 9 race card featuring two stakes races, race 3 and race 9. Both are $100K Turf mile races and have a competitive field.
While the weather isn't typical of SoCal, it's still nice to see the turn is firm and the track is fast as we will have highs in the low to mid 60s today with cloudy skies. Rain has pounded all of California this week but the crew at the track has made sure we have a great day of racing ahead!
