Merry New Year . . . We mean Happy New Year! If you know you know. It's day one of 2024 and we did not want to waste any time getting the first card of the year for the Lundin Line capped as we wish all thoroughbreds happy birthday. We hope you all rung in the new safely and happily. As you can tell by the delay in this post we sure did! Today we are headed to Hot Springs Arkansas to play the ponies at Oaklawn Racing. We have 10 races and the year is kicking off with another Derby prep where points will be awarded to the top five horses for a chance to run for the roses! That's ironic today as the Rose Parade and Rosebowl happen but I digress. We are looking forward to a great day of racing and an even better year as we cash tickets whenever we can and we hope you join us all year long!!!
The weather today looks to be frigid. We have highs in the mid 40s, sunny skies, but no chance of rain, so it's shaping up to be a great day to race.
