Turtle Sports MLB Power Rankings Week 7

Happy Monday! That's right week 2 of posting the power ranks is upon us. We crunched the numbers and saw some interesting moves this week. Houston is the anomaly of all teams as they still sit at 12 despite their record. This is partly due to the team's potential and could explode anytime. The biggest riser of the week is my Seattle Mariners moving up three spots after they held the division lead and even beat top-ranked Atlanta twice! Cincinnati was the biggest faller as they moved down four spots after only winning one game and are currently on a five-game losing streak, Yikes! We make small adjustments each week and then every four weeks we make larger adjustments to help reflect where teams stand so no major shake-up yet, but in a few weeks we could see large moves that can really put the system to the test.

Taking a look at results from yesterday we went 2-1 as Toronto's bullpen succumbed to a better than we thought Washington team late in the game. That gave us +0.48 units for an ROI of 16.07% and helped improve the entire week. Week 6 returned +0.94 units for an ROI of 2.77% on a 20-14 record. I warned you this system is a grinder so to me this is a solid week. We think larger returns are coming our way in the future but that bad week is out there looming as well. We have the potential to see up to 55 games meet the system this week, so don't go overboard or get scared off too easily there will be plenty of opportunities to get #InTheMoney with us all week! Today we have three games up on a limited day of games as Mondays are mostly a travel day for many teams. Good luck today and if you have any thoughts please drop us a line or hit us up on Twitter (yes, I still call it that because the URL is that!).
