Happy Monday! We all know Mondays are for power rankings, but we also have a new twist this week! As we dug deeper into the system, Pickles and I realized this might be a good way to find value in other ways for each team listed. Pickles did a little experiment last week and played the series price for each team before game one of each series to see if our theory of the ranks and a series play would fit. Well, he saw success, so we will start looking at series prices to give you another option to get #InTheMoney. We will deploy the same tactics for a series bet as we do on the straight bets for each day, one unit wager to win whatever it spits out, aka bet to risk, and we will not advise playing any series that is -200 or over. If the series price is not listed below then we do not recommend a play and it will not be tracked. Now let's get to why you are all here, the movement in the power ranks. The only real move this week is the Astros' slide down as they moved down two more spots even as they approach .500 on the season. This can be attributed to them still underperforming based on expectations. Last week we saw another positive week capped off by a winning Sunday to bring us back above water. Sunday we went 5-1 for +3.20 units or an ROI of 53.26%. Just like I said after a terrible Friday, you have to take the wins with the losses and this week proved it. For the week we went 23-15 for +2.62 units or an ROI of 6.90%. Find me a bank account that will give you that kind of ROI in one week and I will probably not believe you to be honest. Today we have five games on deck with three series to play as well. We hope to keep this momentum going as we approach the halfway point of the season. Good luck today and if you have any thoughts please drop us a line or hit us up on Twitter (yes, I still call it that because the URL is that!).
