Happy Mon . . . I mean Tuesday! Yesterday was a busy day for us, but we managed to update our power rankings before posting our game insights. As the season progresses, we're seeing limited movement in the rankings since teams are beginning to reveal their true capabilities. It's surprising to note that we've had so many managers fired before reaching the 50-game mark. We’ll have to see if any of these teams show signs of improvement.
The big mover this week was the Twins, one of the hottest teams in the league, who climbed up three spots. No other team moved more than two spots in either direction. The top two teams remained unchanged, as did the bottom three. The Guardians broke into the top ten, while the Athletics are approaching the top 20—a development that many did not anticipate. The Cardinals continue to perform well, yet our rankings haven't fully caught up with their winning streak. For now, we’ll stick to our strategy and bet against them when our system recommends it. If they keep this momentum, we might see a bigger jump in the rankings next week.
Last week, we recorded a performance of 22 wins and 14 losses, resulting in a profit of 4.26 units and an ROI of 11.83%. Our home team record stood at 20 wins and 13 losses, while our road record was 2 wins and 1 loss, making it a solid week overall. However, yesterday, we had a rough start, going 2-3 with a loss of 1.56 units and an ROI of -31.25%. While it was a tough way to kick off the week, we’re eager to get back on track and help you make profitable bets as we move forward!
Here are a few important points to remember before you start playing any of the games listed below:
1. We will only place bets to risk, not to win. This means we will risk one unit to win whatever the payout may be. There are numerous plays available, and risking one unit can lead to quick losses.
2. We will avoid betting on lines that are at, or sometimes near, -200. Instead, we will assess teams based on the run line to determine if a good play exists.
3. The price listed is the price we found when we prepared this post. We do not shop for prices, as we are located in California and have limited options. All suggested plays will be based on this price, although your bookmaker may have slightly different odds.
4. From our experience last year, our system was particularly effective for series prices, which you will also find listed below. Please remember that the same rules from point 3 apply.
