Happy Monday and Power Rankings day! I missed you all the last couple of days and honestly it was good we did not share our plays as it was middle of the road at best and that means you would have lost a bit of your bankroll to the juice. Friday we went 2-2, Saturday we went 2-2, Sunday we went 1-2, so it lead to a losing week overall. For the week we went 17-13 for -0.36 units or an ROI of of -1.21%. Not a huge loss but add that to the two series losses and only one series win and it was a down week for our Home Run Line. The good news is, it’s a new week, the ranks have been updated, and we are ready to fire again! There was not a lot of movement this week as most teams who did move, just flipped places with the team above or below them. However, the Reds made a big fall as they had a bad week and my pre season outlook on them is not looking good. The top six teams stayed the same but there was a small shuffle near the top. The bottom four stayed the same while the Cardinals moved up after moving over 0.500 for the year. Still a couple more weeks of slight adjustments before a bigger move in the ranks. We are 1/4 of the way through the season, most teams have played 40 games or more, and we will be loooking to get some futures in based on the power ranks and before the books adjust prices too much. We hope you are enjoying these write ups and ranks each day/week and that you continue to get In The Money with us the rest of the season!
Here are a few important points to remember before you start playing any of the games listed below:
1. We will only place bets to risk, not to win. This means we will risk one unit to win whatever the payout may be. There are numerous plays available, and risking one unit can lead to quick losses.
2. We will avoid betting on lines that are at, or sometimes near, -200. Instead, we will assess teams based on the run line to determine if a good play exists.
3. The price listed is the price we found when we prepared this post. We do not shop for prices, as we are located in California and have limited options. All suggested plays will be based on this price, although your bookmaker may have slightly different odds.
4. From our experience last year, our system was particularly effective for series prices, which you will also find listed below. Please remember that the same rules from point 3 apply.
