It's Monday, which means it's time for our new power rankings. After analyzing the numbers from another week, we’ve noticed some changes based on the current standings in the league. The biggest drop this week was for the Atlanta Braves. They have not met expectations so far, and we have not adjusted their ranking down enough until now. Given their performance, I expect them to drop even further in the coming weeks unless they experience a turnaround.

On the other hand, after a slow start that had me concerned about my future bets, the Cincinnati Reds have made the biggest move upward this week, rising six spots in the rankings. Both the Braves and Reds moved down and up, respectively, by six positions from last week's rankings. The Detroit Tigers have surprisingly entered the top five; they have been performing well this year, supported by a promising young core. The Cubs are also climbing into the top three, indicating that the two central divisions may be tougher than we anticipated at the start of the season. In contrast, the Pittsburgh Pirates have fallen into the bottom three, showing a lack of strength outside of their standout player, Paul Skenes. This shift also suggests that the Nationals and Athletics may be competing for playoff spots later in the year, as they have improved and moved up in the rankings over the past few weeks.

We experienced an inconsistent week, finishing with a record of 15 wins and 13 losses, resulting in a loss of 1.44 units and an ROI of -5.16%. On Sunday, we went 2-2, which accounted for a loss of 0.65 units and an ROI of -16.26%. We also lost two series plays this Sunday, contributing to our overall losses for the year. We will be reevaluating our series plays, as they have not been as successful as they were last year. Today, we have six plays lined up, along with two series plays. Yes, we might be tempting fate, but we're confident in our process, so we don’t want to deviate too much or too soon. As the week progresses, our volume will increase, so please manage your bankroll accordingly.

Here are a few important points to remember before you start playing any of the games listed below:

1. We will only place bets to risk, not to win. This means we will risk one unit to win whatever the payout may be. There are numerous plays available, and risking one unit can lead to quick losses.

2. We will avoid betting on lines that are at, or sometimes near, -200. Instead, we will assess teams based on the run line to determine if a good play exists.

3. The price listed is the price we found when we prepared this post. We do not shop for prices, as we are located in California and have limited options. All suggested plays will be based on this price, although your bookmaker may have slightly different odds.

4. From our experience last year, our system was particularly effective for series prices, which you will also find listed below. Please remember that the same rules from point 3 apply.
