We have a huge day in store for you! First up, we head to the East Coast for Travers Day at Saratoga Race Course! The top three-year-olds will give it their best shot to win one of the biggest races outside the Triple Crown and Breeders' Cup. Speaking of the Breeders' Cup, we have two win and you're in races today on this card. In the ninth race, we have the Resorts World Sword Dancer Stakes. There is a purse of $750k and this is a G1T race where five runners, the one scratched, will compete in a 12-furlong route on the inner turf for a chance to win a spot in the Longines Turf in November. Next up in the 10th race, we have the $500k G1 Ballerina Handicap where the ladies will shine as they compete for a spot in the PNC Bank Filly & Mare Sprint in November. This is a race for three-year-olds and upwards and will seven runners, the seven scratched.
Today's card has 14 races, five stakes races, all of which are G1 races, and lottsa runners. The weather is finally cooperating in New York as we will see highs in the mid 80s with mostly sunndy skies. That means we will see fast track and firm turf for a great day of racing!
