Happy Friday & National Barbeque Day! 🍗🥩

We are excited to be back at Pimlico Racecourse in Baltimore, Maryland, for another day of exciting horse racing. Yesterday, we only picked two winners at the track due to the weather changes and rain, which affected our expectations. However, we are back in the groove and looking forward to two more days of racing featuring significant stakes events!

Today marks leg two of the unofficial Filly Triple Crown, which occurs on Fridays leading up to the Triple Crown races. While this field may not be as strong as the ones competing in the Oaks, we anticipate a fantastic day of racing. Both of our experts have shared their insights on the featured race, The Black Eyed Susan, which is a 1 and 1/8 mile route on the dirt course with a purse of $300,000.

Today's card consists of 14 races, including six stakes races, providing plenty of opportunities to win some bets. Although this day's events may not receive as much attention as the Kentucky Oaks, seasoned horse players know there are plenty of chances to make money, and we hope you join us to celebrate this exciting day of racing.

The weather forecast shows temperatures reaching the mid-80s with cloudy skies. There's a possibility of rain later in the day, so be sure to stay updated on any changes as we progress. We will start the day with a fast track and good turf conditions.

The Black-Eyed Susan Stakes is a prestigious American thoroughbred horse race held annually at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. First run in 1919 as the Pimlico Oaks, the race was renamed in 1952 to honor Maryland’s state flower and serve as a counterpart to the Preakness Stakes, which is run the following day. Traditionally held on the Friday before the Preakness, the race showcases three-year-old fillies and is considered the second jewel of the de facto “Filly Triple Crown.” Over the decades, it has grown in popularity and significance, drawing top contenders and becoming a celebrated part of Preakness weekend festivities.

Need help picking winners? We've got you covered! Our (Always Free) Lundin Line's top picks and best bets are below. We use them to help narrow the field while putting our tickets together. The first post will be here soon, so don't be late -
