NBA Playoffs / 07-SEP

Happy Labor Day, everyone! We're watching the NBA Playoffs and have our #BucketLine picks for you today! So in honor of our day off, grab a drink, sit back, and let's get #InTheMoney!

Bucket Line

*Raptors +1.5

*Clippers Team Total Over 114.5

Toronto Raptors +1.5

3:30 PM Pacific

The Raptors have tied this series up at two games apiece and looked much better to the eye test in game four. The Raptors had their best performance in the series from behind the arc in game four shooting 38%. Compare that to 26% and 27% in game 1 and game 2 respectively. The Raptors have won the turnover battle in every game this series but in their two losses, they did not convert those turnovers to points like the Celtics. They have also won the 3rd quarter every game this series. With their increased shooting we should see another close game if they win both these metrics again. *The Raptors are 10-6 ATS in the bubble win ATS with one day off at a rate of 64%. We like the Raptors to continue these trends and are playing them +1.5. Raptors +1.5

Los Angeles Clippers Team Total Over 114.5

6:00 PM Pacific

Another semi-final series means we have a tied series! As sports fans, this is shaping up to be one of the best postseasons in NBA history. Teams that shouldn’t win do, teams that have dominated in the bubble having off days, and both teams in this series having prolific scorers that can take a game over at any time. At the time of writing, we are not sure if Nikola Jokic will play or not, so we are sticking to a single side here. The average 116 ppg overall this year and 117 since the NBA restart. The Clippers had 17 turnovers in game 2 up from their average of 14 per game. Kawhi Leonard had arguably his worst game of the year with a -16 real plus minus, he averaged a 5.1 for the season. The Clippers should get back on track and the Nuggets will not be able to stop them from scoring. We are playing the Clippers team total points for the game over 114.5. Clippers Over 114.5 Total Points.
