NBA Playoffs // 20-AUG

Happy almost weekend! We bounced back yesterday and are back on the happy side of the ledger! TSL BUCKET LINE IS 6-4 THROUGH 3 DAYS OF NBA PLAYOFFS FOR +1.6 UNITS! Our #BucketLine picks for today's games are below. We picked out 3 games we like and have 3 picks for you today. Lets get #InTheMoney!

*Miami Heat -4

*Oklahoma City Thunder +2.5

*Milwaukee Bucks -12.5

Miami Heat -4

10:00 AM Pacific

The Miami The Heat took game one from the Indiana Pacers after an impressive 2nd and 4th quarter where they outscored the Pacers by double digits in both. The Heat showed why they are a better offensive rated team with these two quarters alone. The Pacers typically dominate their opponents on the defensive end, but with Jimmy Butler simply out working the Pacers, Victor Olodipio listed on the injury reports,  We will be looking for Miami to cover the -4 and go up 2-0 in the series.

Oklahoma City Thunder +2.5

12:30 PM Pacific

Oklahoma City was favored in game one, but with the Houston Rockets bringing their A-game, the Thunder fell flat and lost by 15. They will be looking to bounce back and use their impressive ATS record from the regular season to make this a much closer game. In the fourth quarter the Thunder made a run to close the 20 point deficit to 11 at one point which shows promise from their bench to bounce back strong in game two. OKC has the best rebound percentage in the last three games at 83.6% which will help them garner more shots in this game than the last. James Harden will have to shoulder the workload again with Russell Westbrook out. We see this game being much closer than game one and will be playing OKC +2.5.

Milwaukee Bucks -12.5

3:00 PM Pacific

Number 8 seeds have only knocked out a number 1 seed from the playoffs 5 times in NBA history ( 8-seed record is 5-31 series record overall in the first round), two such times were before round one being expanded to 7 games. Both 8 seeds have not won game one in nearly 20 years. The Bucks look to bounce back from looked like a refreshed Orlando Magic team. While there are no fans, it could be argued the Bucks have an uphill battle as this is basically a 7 game home series for the Magic. Orland shot 48% from three-point range in game one, up 10% from their last three games, and 16% from their season average! The Bucks are number one in defensive efficiency which means adjustments will be coming. The Bucks and their MVP candidate Giannis thrive in the paint where they average just under 50% from the field, but in-game one they were a meager 42% from the field. We will be leaning on these stats and taking the Bucks -12.5.
