Sunday Funday is in full swing! While we have a famous Hawthorne here in California we are not headed there to close out our weekend, instead, we are headed to Cicero, IL to play the ponies of Hawthorne Race Course & PointsBet Sportsbook!!! Fun fact of the day, this venue is "considered Chicago's oldest sports venue, this track is a center for horse racing & related events." That means we are in store for a great day of racing. With 9 races, plenty of runners, and tickets to cash we are ready to finish the weekend strong!!!
Today's weather is more winter-like as if spring never sprung. We have highs in the low 40s and showers for the entirety of today's card. The track has been set to good but be sure to keep an eye on the conditions as we get towards the end of the day.
