Happy Friday! It's unofficially the weekend so we say start getting into that mode now. Since we can't all be at the track, is there a better way to play the ponies than from anywhere via simulcast or an app on your phone? Here at Turtle Sports its still early in our day on the West Coast so that means should hang out with us virtually while we play the ponies at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida. Their 8 race card does not have any stakes races but that's ok cause we got snacks on snacks on snacks at our local watering hole today!!! It's been three long months since we capped this track so we are excited to get back at it! There is always a lot of eyes on Gulfstream so we figured if you can't beat'em join'em!
We have typical Florida weather today where it will be hot, somewhat rainy, and a bit unpredictable. We will see highs in the low 80s to mid 90s and it's gonna be humid for sure so make sure to find some shade if you are at the track today. The turf coarse is under renovation though so we shouldn't see too many scratches if the rain does come down. On race on dirt and the rest on the Tapeta all weather track.
