Well - as students return to school, the start of the new football season approaches & summer begins to wind down, you might think that county fairs are done for the year. Not so fast! Here in California, we still have two more to go. The penultimate meet for this year's CA Fair circuit takes us to the land of the Coastal Redwoods and the beautiful city of Ferndale for three weeks (Fri-Sun) of racing at the Humboldt County Fair. While this may not be the most exciting card on today's racing schedule, we like coming off the intensity of the big races on Saturday & relax a bit with one of our "local" tracks. Ferndale is about a six hr. drive northwest of the World Headquarters of Turtle Sports (aka - the Glass Turtle in Roseville, CA)
